Money raised for Yarran Centre

Cash Housie has started at Woy Woy Leagues Club, with all money raised, after the prizes are paid, going to Yarran Early Intervention Centre.

The Yarran Centre is an educational support service for young children with disabilities and their families.

"Early intervention means that children with development delays and disabilities receive educational support to assist them is reaching their full potential," said Leagues Club organiser Ms Dianne Hawkins.

"Research has shown that the first five years of life is the most critical period for the development of certain skills.

"With early intervention, children with delays and disabilities receive an individual educational program full of stimulating activities that is designed to meet their needs.

"Any child that has either a mild, moderate or severe delay or disability in any development area can use Yarran Services.

To find out more, please contact Dianne Hawkins at Woy Woy Leagues Club.

Cash House is played every Friday at Woy Woy Leagues Club in a smoke free environment.
