Plant identification walk
A plant identification walk will be held by the National Parks and Wildlife Service from the Warrah Trig carpark off the Patonga Rd from 1pm on Saturday, August 25.
Instruction will be given on using a simple key to identify plants and weeds in Brisbane Water National Park.
A discussion will be held on the effect of weeds on the native species and on the biodiversity of an area.
The three-hour walk is described as "leisurely ... through a scenic area".
The cost of the walk is $6 adults and $4 children, with bookings being taken on 4320 4205.
