Athletes reach State championships

Woy Woy Peninsula Little Athletics ended last season with seven athletes qualifying through to reach the Little Athletics State Championships at Homebush.

They were: Luke Donahue, U11 Long Jump; Rhys Ryan, U11 1100m Walk; Joel Weeks, U12 Long Jump; Shellie Wilkes, U11 400m, 200M; Emily Mullen, U12 400m, Triple Jump; Samantha Tomlin, U13 High Jump; Kylie Wildman, U15 200m Hurdles, 90m Hurdles, 100m, 200m.

Little Athletics is held on Friday nights, with athletes of varying ability attending to complete, socialise and have fun in age groups from under-6 to under-15.

The events are run by volunteer parents.
