Society holds Spring show

The Central Coast Umina Garden Society will hold its 2001 Spring Show on Saturday, September 8, at the Umina Progress Hall, in Sydney Ave.

The show will be held from 12.30pm to 3.30pm, with admission costing $3, which includes the cost of afternoon tea.

The official opening will be at 2pm.

Entries to the show close by 9pm on September 6, and may be made by phoning the show secretary Mrs Betty Cadwallader on 4344 2868 between 7pm and 9pm.

Flowers will be sold at the end of the show.

Class types for this year’s show are: Section 1 variety of flowers, Section 2 novelty plants and herbs, Section 3 bulbs,; Section 4 vegetables and fruit, Section 5 pot plants,; Section 6 Australiana natives, Section 7a floral art decorative,; Section 7b floral art B class and Section 7c floral art, men only.
