Newspaper association holds AGM

The annual meeting of the Peninsula Community Access Newspaper Inc association will be held at 8pm on Tuesday, September 11.

Anyone interested in any aspect of the operation of this newspaper is encouraged to attend the meeting.

Only financial members of the association will be eligible to vote and stand for committee positions.

Peninsula News has a unique ownership and management structure, where the non-profit community-based association sets the newspaper's policy and controls its news content.

The sales, marketing and production of the newspaper are licensed to a private commercial operator.

The meeting will be held at the Peninsula News offices in Chambers Place, Woy Woy.

The next newspaper workshop for will be held at the newspaper office at 6pm next Monday, August 20.

Topics covered will include content and composition, as well as writing style.

The workshop is free to association members and $15 to others.
