Triples was 'best ever'

Many competitors have hailed the Frank Kemp Memorial Triples for 2001 which was recently played at Everglades as the "best ever".

Played over three days with a capacity field on 20 rinks, Gosford City representative Chris Pini won the event in fine style winning all six games.

Bowlers from all over the zone contested the event on fast and true greens in perfect weather conditions, although some rain early on the final morning slowed play a little and tested everyone.
