Working bee for school bush care
The Pretty Beach Public School P&C Bushcare group had its first working bee for the year on Sunday, February 23.
Volunteer numbers have dwindled over the eight years it has been operating.
Over the next two years, most of the regular participants' children will be going to high school.
In the eight years, they have built a bush track to access the school's bushland for class activities, installed seating and removed weeds to promote the regeneration of native plants and to restore the habitat of the vulnerable red-crowned toadlet.
New members are welcome.
No experience is necessary.
