Chris Holstein

As an independent I will be able to work with what ever political party forms government.

I have a proven record in my 12 years in council that I can be effective in bridging the political differences for the benefit of the community.

My objectives for Peats as the State Member are:

Education - new high school at Kariong, replacement of all demountables.

Roads - upgrade of the West Gosford intersection, replacement of the Rawson St railway crossing with an underpass, completion of the Woy Woy Rd upgrade, railway overpass improvements at Ourimbah, Narara and Gosford.

Transport - push for a government bus service, supporting the fast ferry, improvement to our rail efficiency.

Health - upgrading of Woy Woy Hospital with improved services including a full emergency and casualty department.

Police - Increased police presence on the streets.

Youth - a wider range of facilities and entertainment opportunities.

Aged - improving quality of life through the better transport, greater policing and improved health services on the Peninsula.

As an independent member, I will not suffer the apathy of the political parties.

You will have my total and full time commitment to you, the people of Peats, and not to the party.
