Craft offered on Fridays

A range of crafts is currently being offered at Peninsula Pastimes, including card making, glass painting, applique and scrap booking memory albums.

Pastimes is held at the Ettalong Baptist Church on Friday mornings during school terms from 9.30am to 12pm.

Cost is $2 and creche is available.

Peninsula Pastimes was started 10 years ago as an outreach program of the Ettalong Baptist Church.

It has been a place for local people to meet, enjoy morning tea and learn a craft.

There have been times when the hall has been overflowing, but there are usually between 40 and 50 attending each day.

Over the years, friendships have been made and many different crafts have been taught from knitting and bunka to folk art and patchwork.

They try to have a new craft each term.
