Campus used for budgerigar show

The Central Coast Branch of the Budgerigar Society of NSW held its 15th annual championship on Sunday, March 9, at the Brisbane Water Secondary College at Umina.

The occasion attracted many entries.

All varieties of budgerigars were exhibited from normals to pieds and cresteds.

There was also an auction of budgerigars from the aviary of one of Australia's top breeders, Ian Hanington from Wauchope.
