Other Seniors' Week activities

Other Seniors' Week activities will be held on the Peninsula on the Tuesday and the Wednesday.

A Hawkesbury River cruise with lunch at Broken Bay Recreational Centre will be held on Tuesday, March 18.

The ferry will depart Brooklyn at 9.30am and Patonga at 10am.

"Save on your energy bill" is the theme for an afternoon talk at the Ettalong Senior Citizens Centre on Tuesday, March 18.

The event is free and starts at 1pm.

Cinema Paridiso in Ettalong is offering two tickets with free tea, coffee and biscuits for the price of one ticket until 5pm on Tuesday, March 18.

Ettalong Senior Citizens' Centre will hold a Polynesian Theme Luncheon, with entertainment by Nga Wacha E Whitu maori group on Wednesday, March 19, at noon.

Gosford Council will hold a half day bus tour of council facilities on Wednesday, March 19.

The tour will include MRF Earthcare Recyclers at Somersby, Edogawa Gardens, the council nursery and the Laycock St Theatre.

The bus will depart from Ettalong Beach War Memorial Club at 8.45am and from the Council Chambers in Gosford at 9am.
