Toastmasters start speechcraft course

Ettalong Beach Toastmasters will start a speechcraft course on March 4.

Speechcraft is designed to help people overcome their fear of speaking in front of groups.

Participants are encouraged to learn new speaking skills and put them into practice in a friendly and supportive meeting environment.

Not only do they learn how to speak effectively but also how to construct speeches and use body language to its full effect.

The course will run over seven Tuesday evenings between 7.30pm and 9.30pm at the Ettalong Beach Club.

Costs of $90 include manuals, training and educational sessions with experienced Toastmasters.

Cost also includes the graduation expenses and diploma.
