Candidates invited to Progress meeting

The Koolewong and Point Clare Tascott Progress Association has invited candidates for the forthcoming State Election to its meeting on February 14 at 7.45pm to "announce their policies and obligations".

Questions will be asked from the floor by residents and members.

Spokesman for the association, Mr Robert Findley said: "Our organization is for assistance to the citizens of the area in relation to all governmental issues of the day and the future of the city as a whole.

"There are many issues concerning the area such as transport, roads, schools, community centre, recreation areas, foreshore protection, environmental protection and general assistance which the government should be providing, but so far has not be able to give the attention we deserve."
