'Pirates' back by popular demand

Brisbane Water Secondary College is performing the "Pirates of Penzance" again "due to an overwhelming number of requests".

Students performed the Gilbert & Sullivan comic opera in November, directed by teacher Roger Macey.

It is being performed at Ettalong Beach Memorial Club on February 27 and 28 with matinees at noon and evening performances at 7.30pm.

Doors open 30 minutes before performance.

Tickets cost $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors.
