Concerned at lack of protection

Gosford Council's tree protection committee has raised concerns about an angophora tree in Jade Place, Pearl Beach.

The committee has expressed concern that its roots were exposed and not rimmed and there appeared to be a complete lack of tree protection measures.

The committee was concerned that structural posts had been erected within two metres of the tree.

The committee asked to be advised of the conditions of approval of the development application and also for another inspection of the tree to be carried out.
