Thanks to the helpers
To all the various organisers and helpers who made the Umina Garden Society garden show day so very successful, a special big thanks.
There are hundreds if not thousands of local residents and visitors who will agree with me that on Easter Saturday along West St, Umina, ending up in the community hall, we all joined up as big families in different locations to share and take part in a spectacular day, a day we are still talking about.
Thanks for the fantastic displays of shops, stalls, street parade and garden show.
The various layouts were beautifully done to view and ask questions on as well as make purchases.
We only wished the day was longer to have seen even more of the stalls, for some of us who ran late.
The huge garden show in the community hall was a magnificent arrangement of floral art, flowers and various types of pot plants.
Reports say that what we saw in the floral art display was far better than some in the Easter Show in Sydney.
Again a special thanks to all those who organised and helped make this a wonderful Easter Saturday.
I say thanks also to the Peninsula News for their help to reach the people of the Peninsula and keep them informed on whats happening.
