Wishing Tree appeal

The Wishing Tree Appeal for Christmas presents for children in need will be held again this year at Kmart Woy Woy.

Kmart staff are asking customers to place items under the Christmas tree in its store in Deepwater Plaza.

Kmart stores Australia-wide hold the annual appeal and the gifts are given to the Salvation Army and Smith Family to distribute to families experiencing financial hardship.

Last year Australians donated 189,000 gifts and organisers are hoping to surpass that figure this year.
