Arboretum wedding for Jenny and Neil

The Symphony of Australian Birds heralded the arrival of Jenny Coker of Umina as she crossed the bridge in the Crommelin Native Arboretum at Pearl Beach to wed Neil Burtt of Carlton, on October 21.

Jenny designed and made her own wedding gown for the open-air ceremony, which was conducted by her uncle, Salvation Army Captain Jim Nash.

The waterside Wagstaffe Community Hall, decorated with Australian wildflowers, was a delightful venue for the reception, followed by a bush dance with "Fair Dinkum", a local bush band.

Jenny and Neil honeymooned at O’Reilly’s Guest House in the Lamington National Park, later bushwalking in the Daintree rainforest.
