Rail work planned

Work on the railway track between Cowan and Gosford will take place from 11pm on Friday, December 8, until 2.30am on Monday, December 11.

The work will be carried out by Rail Services Australia "to ensure rail customers enjoy faster, smoother rides and fewer interruptions on CityRail train services".

"Unfortunately, there will be some noise associated with the work," a spokesman said.

"However, it will be minimised where possible."
