Umina juniors enjoy wins

The Umina Juniors cricket season is well underway again and at the end of Round Three, the Umina Juniors have enjoyed wins in every age group.

While there have been great team performances across the board, some individual performances of note include: Batting - Michael Payne (13B’s) scores of 60 and 67 (both not out) in rounds 1 and 2, Harry Jones (14B) 67 in round 3, Matthew Jones(11A) 51 not out in round 2, Lachlan Baines (12C) 54 not out in round 2, Chris Clement (11A) two successive 40 not out retirements in rounds 2 and 3.

Bowling – Kenneth Brown (11B) 4/11 and Ben Howell (15B) 4/36 in round 1, Tom Gilmore(12C) 4/9, Ben Crain(11B) 4/11 and M.Burgess (15B) 4/27 in round 2.

The best all-round performance thus far has been Daniel Fiddock’s round 2 match against Toukley where he scored 62 with the bat and took 3/19 with the ball.
