Praise for success

Empire Bay Public School principal Mr Gordon Fraser has praised the school's Mothers Day stall as "a fantastic success".

"The students gained enormous satisfaction from being able to purchase an item for their mum," he said.

"I would like to again extend my thanks to those parents who made time to undertake the necessary preparation and then to be at the school on the day to run the stall.

He also thanked the parents who made significant donations of items to the stall.

"These helped provide a wide choice of items for the students to choose from."

The Mothers Day raffle was drawn on May 11 at the Mothers Day stall.

Winners were: Mrs. R Johnstone, Chris Turner, L Underwood and Mrs. Corby

The school also had a children’s Mother’s Day raffle.

This special raffle was also drawn at the Mother’s Day Stall.

Winners were Brooke Egan 3H, Thomas Pope 3M and Zac Dawes 6B.
