Helpers wanted at Ettymalong Creek

Helpers are wanted to restore Ettymalong Creek at Umina as part of the Central Coast Riparian Rehabilitation project.

The project is funded by a Natural Heritage Trust grant and is run by the Central Coast Community Environment Network (CCCEN).

"We're helping community groups restore their creeks with planting and bush regeneration assistance," according to the CCCEN's Diane Warman.

"We're always looking for volunteer assistance whether it be with bush regeneration or helping with the billy tea and scones, collecting plant specimens for identification or distributing our newsletter, the "Creeky Voice".

Anyone interested in helping at Ettymalong Creek, Umina, may phone Diane Warman on 4349 4491 at the Central Coast Campus, Ourimbah, for the location and meeting times.
