Tribute to our Anzacs

Congratulations to the community groups of Patonga Beach for conducting the dawn service at our Patonga War Memorial on Anzac Day 2000.

It is over 20 years since a service was held here and over 200 people attended, mainly residents joined by Easter visitors.

After the dignified ceremony conducted by Charlie Sproule, a breakfast was held at the Patonga Progress Hall.

The community of Patonga was one paying tribute to the Anzacs, our returned servicemen and women and our Australian spirit.
