Progress on projects

Council's general manager, Mr Peter Wilson, has released his latest quarterly progress report on financial strategy projects.

Woy Woy Branch Library ($710,000) - The time frame for the project is pending the completion of conservation plans and input from the building committee and the community.

Peninsula Youth and Recreation Centre ($1.5 million) - Construction due to finish in October next year. Plans have been drawn and a committee is focussing on the development of the sports hall.

Woy Woy Community Centre and Little Theatre ($3.25 million) - Budget was revised in October. Construction to start in November and finish in August next year. Council is currently waiting for the approval of the development application.

Woy Woy Central Business District (CBD) ($1.5 million) - Construction, except for the boardwalk along the waterfront, due to be finished in December.

Umina CBD ($1.5 million) - due to be completed by February.

Ettalong CBD ($1.124 million) - Traffic circulation study to be placed on exhibition for two months.
