Spending planned on recreation
The recreation department of Gosford Council will spend $700,000 on Peninsula works over the next two financial years.
Of this, $600,000 will come from section 94 contributions, which are compulsory developer fees.
The section 94 money will be spent on Umina Regional Park with $500,000 earmarked for this financial year and a further $100,000 next financial year.
The Patonga Caravan Park will receive $50,000 a year over the next two financial years for work on the park's amenities building.
A further $250,000 will be needed to complete the work.
The Peninsula works are part of $2,057,200 that will be spent city-wide over the next two years.
