Centre wants volunteers
Woy Woy Environment Centre, a local environmental resource library developed during the 1988 Bicentenary, is in need of volunteers.
Contained within historical St Lukes Church, the centre offers a place of information and guidance with extensive environmental publications. It is accessible to schoolchildren, tertiary students, keen environmentalists and the general public.
It also provides a valuable site for local environmental organizations to conduct meetings and forums.
Unfortunately, due to lack of volunteers the centre is only able to open intermittently.
With further relief staff it would ideally be open most days.
To register your interest or for further information, contact Woy Woy Environment Centre on 4360 1024.
