Cash housie

Fairhaven Services runs cash housie every Monday Night at Umina Beach Bowling Club at 7.30pm and is looking for the Peninsula community to get involved and help raise money for its services.

Supervisor Ms Susan Chidgey said cash housie was an enjoyable night out.

"Players have the chance of winning good cash and raffle prizes while supporting a worthwhile local charity," she said.

All proceeds from the night are used to provide services for over 70 intellectually disabled adults who live on the Central Coast.

Fairhaven Services runs supported employment programs at Point Clare and Woy Woy, a residential unit at Kincumber, independent living cottages and a service to assist disabled adults to obtain work skills for open employment.
