Postponed works funded

A number of Peninsula Council works which had not been started by the end of last financial year have received funding in this year's budget.

Some of the works are:

- Woy Woy performing arts feasilbility study at a cost of $14,000

- Correa Bay water quality monitoring ($15,000)

- Lemon Grove netball court awning ($10,173)

- an upgrade for lighting at Umina Beach Reserve ($50,000)

- work on the Patonga tidal pool ($32,500), kerb and guttering on Kingsley Avenue, Woy Woy ($5000)

- Our Road Our Responsibility program for Woy Woy Rd ($5000),

- a pedestrian refuge in Ocean Beach Rd ($3366)

- work on Charlton St, Woy Woy ($10,000), and

- a median strip in Blackwall Rd, Woy Woy, near the pool ($10,000).
