Archery for Umina High

Member for Peats Ms Marie Andrews has announced funding for Umina High School’s archery program.

"The funding is part of the School Sports 2000 Foundation Trust Fund, which provides schools with the opportunity to support a variety of sport and healthy lifestyle initiatives at the local school level," she said.

Umina High School will receive $2000 for its archery program. This funding is in addition to regular State Government funding.

"I am certain that Umina High School's archery program will be a great success, and we shall hope to see local representation at future archery competitions and perhaps even at the Athens Summer Games in 2004," Ms Andrews said.
