Warwick Smith takes over

Woy Woy Bowling Club has a new secretary manager in Warwick Smith.

Mr Smith said he was looking forward to joining the team at the club.

Mr Smith brings with him a wealth of experience in the industry.

"I first started in clubs over 28 years ago," he said.

"I spent over 10 years at Balmain Leagues Club as casual manager of the nightclub, three years as sub-assistant manager at Sydney Rowing Club, two and a half years as assistant secretary manager and just over two years as secretary manager of Kiama Bowling and Recreation Club.

Mr Smith and his wife live on the Peninsula.

"I love the game of bowls and compete in club championships," he said.

Mr Smith said he believed the Woy Woy Bowling Club had enormous potential.

"With the renovations now beginning, it won't be long before that potential is realised," he said.

"There will be some inconvenience due to the construction, but you will see a fantastic result at the end.

"So please bear with us during the next few months and continue to support your club."

Mr Smith takes over from Mr Mark Landon.
