Money for traffic calmers

The Peninsula will receive $29,000 worth of road work from Council's $100,000 traffic facilities program for this financial year.

The program is in addition to Council's recurrent budget of $200,000.

Brick Wharf Road in Woy Woy will get two traffic calming devices at an estimated cost of $20,000. Dunmore Avenue, also in Woy Woy, will get kerb blisters at the intersection with Wyalong Road at an estimated cost of $4000. Rosella Road in Empire Bay will be permanently closed at Greenfield Road at an estimated cost of $5000.
