Collecting toys

A local supermarket is collecting toys for distribution at Christmas to children in need.

The Franklins store at Woy Woy Deepwater Plaza will be the participating in the Franklins Toy Rally from Monday, November 10.

Woy Woy will be one of three Franklin stores on the Coast that will start the rally off with over $800 worth of new toys.

"We would encourage all our customers and staff to donate one new toy each and drop it off.

"We will all have toy boxes in store ready to fill," said Woy Woy Franklins store manager Paul Beech.

The Wesley Mission Central Coast branch will collect the toys and distribute them throughout the Central Coast in time for Christmas.

Stores at Erina Fair and Bateau Bay will also have the boxes.
