Sub-junior golf

The Everglades Country Club will play its annual sub-junior championships "for all ages" on Tuesdays, November 18 and 25.

Five of the leading 12-year-olds, Hayden Woodbridge, Brenton Mills, Daniel Friend, Lachlan O'Donnell and Jake Foster, played in the Cadets nine-hole event at Terrigal during the school holidays in September.

Brenton Mills had 45 to win the runner-up trophy in the Scratch Score.

Daniel Friend, with a handicap of 14, won the nett trophy with 31 and also the nearest-the-pin prize.

The same boys competed in the Toukley Classic Cadet Section on Friday, October 3.

Brenton Mills with 47 points won the Scratch Trophy on a count back from Hayden Woodbridge who won the runner-up trophy.
