Santa sleigh street visits
Santa and his sleigh will visit the streets of the Peninsula this December courtesy of the Ettalong-Umina Lions Club.
Local children will be able to see Santa and buy Lions Christmas cakes from the club during the street visits.
Any donations are welcome and will go towards the Bays Rural Fire Service.
The sleigh will commence its run on Monday, December 1, at Umina, and continue through until Friday, December 19, from 6pm to 8:30pm each day.
The Bays Rural Fire Brigade volunteers will tow the sleigh.
The club hoped to visit as many streets in the Ettalong-Umina area as possible, but avoiding main thoroughfares.
The Christmas cakes will sell for $8.20 small and $11 large, and Lions Christmas puddings for $15 each.
To request a Santa visit, contact club secretary Cherie on 4369 0946.
