Anti-bullying program starts
Pretty Beach Primary School has implemented a new anti-bullying program based on materials using the latest research.
"Following several incidents of inappropriate student behaviour recently, we have decided to implement an anti-bullying campaign," the school newsletter has reported.
All classes will take part in the scheme.
Students in Year 3 and Year 6 will be grouped into peer support groups to participate in the program before sport every Friday afternoon.
Parents were invited to attend a forum to discuss the issue on Friday, November 7, in the library.
Leader of the Central Coast District Behaviour Team, Kerry Smith, and school counsellor Kay Williams attended.
