Skateboard clinics held

Gosford Council is conducting a skateboard clinic for beginners and intermediates at Umina Skate Park.

Experienced skate instructors, supplied by the Coastal Skateboarders Association, will conduct one-hour classes with a maximum of four to five people per instructor.

The clinics will be held on October 8 at Umina and cost $8.80 per session.

Participants must be over six years of age, wear a safety helmet and knee and elbow pads and have their own skateboard.

Some safety gear will be available for hire on the day.

Participants are urged to register early at Council's Gosford or Woy Woy office as classes fill quickly
