Comedy writing by children

Children on the Peninsula may take part in free comedy writing workshops as part of the Spike Milligan festival.

The workshops, to be held in the Spike Milligan room at Woy Woy library, will use Spike Milligans work as a stimulus.

There will be performances of selected works by professional actors.

On Thursday, October 9, there will be two workshops for juniors aged 9-12 with children's author Moya Simons at 11-1pm and 2-4pm.

On Friday, October 9, there will be two workshops for youth aged 13-18 with youth author John Larkin at 11-1pm and 2-4pm.

On Saturday, October 11, there will be a presentation of selected works form the workshops from 1-3pm.
