Park is extended

Gosford Council has extended and refurbished Couche Park at Koolewong.

The secretary of the Koolewong and Point Claire-Tascott Progress Association, Mr Robert Findlay, said that the project commenced about three years ago and was funded wholly by council.

"The association thanks Gosford Council's drainage and parks and reserves staff for their efforts in refurbishing Couche Park.

"Gosford Council staff in consultation with residents have worked tirelessly on the project which gives an extra 70-80 square metres to the park.

"A number of residents have made positive comments about the park's overall look," he said.

"Hopefully it will be appreciated and made good use of by the local community."
