Recreation review
Gosford Council is reviewing the provision of open space and recreation facilities on the Woy Woy Peninsula.
Mayor Cr Chris Holstein said Council last surveyed Peninsula residents about their needs for recreation facilities and open space in 1993.
"Since then, theres been significant residential development in the area and many new residents have moved to the Peninsula," said Mr Holstein.
"Approximately 1200 survey questionnaires have been mailed to householders in homes built since the previous survey in 1993."
Completed questionnaires received by Council went into the draw for a prize of a Council rates credit of $200 or a voucher to the value of $200 from a local shop of the winners choice.
The winner was P Gava of Ettalong Beach.
Any residents believing they should be included in the survey without having received a questionnaire or anyone wanting more information may contact Councils recreation facilities manager Dana Spence on 4325 8426.
