Schools get extra funds
A number of schools on the Peninsula will benefit from supplementary funding to the Department of Education and Training capital works and maintenance program, according to Member for Peats Ms Marie Andrews.
The $20 million funding program is part of the State Governments commitment to improving facilities in the public school system, she said.
Ettalong Public School will receive $4684 to replace a damaged tile roof with colorbond.
Umina High School will receive $95,000 and Woy Woy High School $81,000 to prepare and paint the entire interior of the school.
