Anzac dawn service planned

The annual Anzac Day dawn service will again be organised at Woy Woy Ettalong-Hardys Bay RSL sub-branch.

Assembly will be at 5.20am at Woy Woy bus terminal.

The service will start at 5.30am at Woy Woy Memorial Park

Transport is available from 4.40am with a bus departing from McMasters Rd, via Ocean Beach Rd to Cowper Rd.

At 4.55am, the bus leaves Cowper Rd via Kalaroo, Kahibah, West St, Broken Bay Rd to the Memorial Club, leaving at 5.10am via Ocean View Rd, Booker Bay Rd to Woy Woy bus terminal and on to Memorial Park by 5.20am.

After the service, the bus returns to the Memorial Club.

Entry to the gunfire breakfast is by stamped program only.

Assembly for the Anzac Day March is 9.30am at Deepwater Plaza

A service will follow at 10.30am at Woy Woy Memorial Park

Seating will be provided for VIPs only.

A bus will depart at 9am from Cowper Rd and travel via Kalaroo, Kahibah, West St, Ocean Beach Rd and McMasters Rd to Deepwater Plaza and on to Woy Woy Memorial Park.

It leaves the club at about 9.15am.

After the service, the bus returns to the Memorial Club for Anzac Day "smoko" luncheon for Woy Woy Ettalong-Hardys Bay RSL sub-branch.

Those wishing to take part in the wreath-laying ceremony, or who require further information, should contact the sub branch on 4341 2594 as soon as possible.

In case of rain, the main service will be held in the Centre, Ettalong Beach War Memorial Club.

A four-hour Anzac Day show will be held at the Memorial Club featuring Lucky Star, award winning act The Allysons, comedian Greg Hayes and vocalist Karen Beckett.

The performers have been specially selected for the day to pay tribute to our country’s brave men and women.

Tickets are $7 each.
