Council to clear creek

Gosford City Council is clearing the drainage reserve in the vicinity of North Pearl Estate, Umina, to "help alleviate flooding problems".

"Any type of rubbish, filling, vegetation offcuts and grass clippings left in the creeks, floodplain or on any part of the reserve contributes to serious flooding problems as well as causing damage to the environment," said Ms Brown.
