Web wins at pool

Jessica Brown and Alan Waugh from The Web youth group have taken places in a Central Coast youth services pool tournament.

Jessica Brown won the female section when she defeated Kylie Talbot from Long Jetty Youth and Kelly Lenston from the Firehouse, Chittaway.

Alan Waugh was a semi-finalist in the male section.

Wyoming Youth Centre hosted the tournament last Wednesday as part of National Youth Work Week.

The male final was contested between two friends, both from Wyoming.

The eventual winner was Dane Crimmins who beat the defending champion Mathew Poole in a close contest.

The other male semi-finalist was Mohamed Hassan also from Wyoming.
