Senator visits
Shadow Minister for Sport and Youth Affairs, Senator Kate Lundy, recently visited the Umina PCYC at the invitation of ALP Candidate for Robertson, Ms Trish Moran.
Senator Lundy met with representatives from a number of sporting and youth organisations.
The groups were given an opportunity to outline their organisations' needs and objectives and to identify current issues concerning their membersÂ’ involvement in sport.
Senator Lundy spoke on the current thinking and policy formulation of the Federal Opposition for the resourcing, support and funding of sport and youth organisations generally.
