Senior awards

During the recent celebrations for Senior Citizens Week, Member for Peats Ms Marie Andrews once again held her annual free barbecue and concert at the Ettalong Beach Memorial Club.

Following a show compered by Chris King, several awards were presented in recognition of outstanding service to the community and to New South Wales.

The awards were signed by the Premier, Mr Bob Carr, and presented by Minister for Agriculture and Minister for Land and Water Conservation, Mr Richard Amery, and Ms Andrews.

Recipients of awards were Eleanor Allan, John Byfield, Elsie Cashman, Gwen Gorick, Beryl Finch, Patricia Molin, Robert Molin, Kathleen Player, Leonard Player and Clare Wren.
