Students win 'outstanding' awards

Woy Woy High School students Kelly Clarke, Eddie Garrett and David Laing have made outstanding achievements on the stage and on the field recently.

Six other students have received outstanding. achievement certificates.

Kelly has been chosen to participate in the State Drama Camp, which principal Caroline Carter said required a very high standard.

It was the second year in succession that Woy Woy High had had students selected for the program.

Eddie and David were selected to participate in the North Sydney Regional Cross Country team.

Carly Brett and Mary Callingham of Year 12; Rebecca Woods of Year 11; Kurt Cartwright, Michelle Melville and Vanessa Gordge of Year 7 had already achieved three faculty merit certificates as well as 15 class merit certificates.

This work has entitled these students to achieve outstanding merit certificates.
