Students have fun
Ettalong Public School students are really having fun this year: 105 kindergarten children walked to the Cinema Paradiso at Ettalong to see the "Tigger" movie.
The children all joined in singing the songs they had learned in the classroom and when they returned to school they wrote stories about the film.
On June 14 and 15, all the students took part in a $2 bowling day to raise funds for shade areas at the school.
The portable bowling lane was transported to the school and each child took their turn to bowl the ball down the lane.
The children were all very excited when the pins were knocked over and they received vouchers from McDonalds and the school canteen along with various novelties as prizes.
Thanks to Astro Lanes at Bateau Bay for this fantastic way to raise funds for our school.
Also Year 6 students are prepared to head off on their Snowy trip accompanied by their equally enthusiastic teachers.
All should have a wonderful time.
Look out for the photos in the next edition of the Peninsula News.
Children aren't the only ones who have fun at Ettalong Public School.
Parents, carers, and pre-schoolers are looking forward to a fun day at Lions Park, Woy Woy, on Friday, June 23, from 11am to 2pm.
A BYO picnic is planned so everyone can relax and catch up with old friends and meet some new ones.
Anyone starting at Ettalong School next year is invited to come along and join in "a great day out".
