Rezoning prepared for Ettalong Markets
A draft local environment plan will be prepared to rezone land at the Ettalong Markets complex from residential to business general.
This will allow a parcel of land to be integrated into the complex, which includes the Sea Sand Motel and shops, Cinema Paradiso and Ettalong Markets.
The land currently has two tennis courts and four single-storey units.
The applicant said the tennis courts would be used for transient recreational uses such as jumping castles and merry-go-rounds, and for open air cinema sessions.
Gosford Council has deemed the rezoning proposal reasonable.
The council indicated that possible future problems with on-site parking and amenity to nearby units would be considered when a development application was lodged.
