Lottery win in Woy Woy
A lottery ticket bought at Peninsula Newsagency in Woy Woy has won a retired broadcaster the first prize of $100,000 in the $2 Jackpot Lottery last week (June 15).
The 63-year-old winner was in disbelief when told of the win by a NSW Lotteries official.
"I feel numb," said the father of three, who nevertheless welcomed the news.
The winner said he planned to celebrate the win "quietly" with his family and he had no plans on how he would spend the prize money at this stage.
This is the first big win for the man who said he buys a lottery ticket "most days".
