Danielle wins heat of Quest

Bensville's Danielle Preston, 17, has won her heat of the Model Quest 2000 last week.

Model Quest is an annual state-wide event organised and conducted by the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children to raise money for the organisation.

Danielle will now compete in the Hunter Regional Final at Belmont in November for a chance to go into the grand final at the Sydney Hilton in December.

Entrants are judged on deportment, catwalk technique, presentation and style, appropriateness of dress for age and the ability to participate in a choreographed event.
